Dreams and Lives

Eyes closed
Relax , no worries
Her breath slow, steady
Up and down her tummy moves
Her ears capture the rustles of the leaves
That falls slowly, gently
Her body light as the feather move up and up and up
Above the ceiling
Above the roof
Into the sky
Into the clouds
Above the earth
Into the air
Slowly gently her eyes open
Stars surrounded her
Warmth enveloped her
Smile comforted her
Floating up and up into another part of the world
Fear engulfed her
Screams deafened her
Suffocation chocked her
Common sense called out to protect her as she ran for a better view
As she moved quickly
Blurry clouds flew past her
Images swept above and underneath her
A blank
As she gasped for air
Before the light appears again
Bringing with it a pleasant sound
A calming song
A comforting smile
A security
Before things began to fall deep into the dark
And everything’s a black out and stop
