Citing

Ever since i was introduced to the world of reference, i found myself liking to reference everything that i am writting about, of course, unless it is originally created by me. =p
but the idea of finding the good citation, (sigh) it's just not my cup of tea.
i dont know why but i found myself unable to make a good reference every time i need to make one...
haha as a result, when i managed to find one and understand the whole content, i will be more than satisfied... =)

the time now is 11:30 p.m. time to sleep soon...
have not been sleeping well these days, and i found myself dozing away several times in the class.
just now, i was fortunate enough to get an hour of sleep, despite of my gonna-be-busy life, and frankly speaking, that precious one hour is not enough for a lazy human like me. unfortunately.

but i feel that the busy life that i am going to lead soon, is a challenge for me to wake up and get my butt off the bed and start making a move.
so many things i have to do.
first i have to learn to know how to research and ensure that i can search it well enough.
and second to make sure that i understand what the hell is going on.

i'm glad to announce that i was able to understand the reading list i am reading about today.
it's about gatekeeping theory
do u heard of it before?
well, basically it is a way used in the communication theory, to identify the good informations and the bad informations. and the gatekeeper and gated is simply the sender and receiver of the information.

there are 2 types of gatekeeping, one is the traditional gatekeeper another one is the NGT or net gatekeeping theory, which is using the internet, or the type of things that we undergo everday. and in the past, the gatekeeper is the seemingly only key factor that provides all the informations that are going to be published out to the gated audience. thus, the gated, have not much opportunities in voicing out their own views, however, with the coming of NGT, both the gated and gatekeepers are able to play a role in providing and voicing out their opinions.

but the bad thing is, sometimes, the gated who is not so much in contact with the broad exposure that the gatekeeper is facing, will tend to maybe let out certain informations that the gatekeepers does not intend to share it to the world, furthermore, with their limited accession with the information resources, it is not going to be a good idea if the public buy their stories. that's why sometimes some informations are being censored. and one of the reason is so as not to panic the public.

but anyway, this case thingy is somewhat similar to media news in the internet, that i read about, about 2 weeks ago, something like, because there are things like internet newspaper, therefore, some people are being misled because some of the news are not edited and not properly written.
and thus, haha i think that is the reason why we are taught to make citation and realiable research.
so that people will believe what we said...
haha

anyway, i'm sorry if i didnt cite the reference to all the gatekeeper thingy that i wrote here, because it was given by my lecture and i dont know if he allows me to share it to the world..haaa
so i think i better keep it a secret...of course if you wan to know more, which i doubt so... haha search about it yourself in the internet okay... =p

damn baby, i'm so tired...
and i'm so lost about my PP which is like a disaster...haha
but luckily i managed to get a good result for the past few modules that i undergone...
haha
cant wait to see Steven on Monday...lol time to give him more craps which i dont know if i am going to do so or not...haha well pardon me, i am a confused kid...though i am not emo ya...haha really i am not...just a little slow in the brain lol so just give me sometime to rethink about what i want to do and i will be fine...haha
